San Diego-based Galloping Hearts Coffee is the brainchild of Patrick March, a man with a penchant for coffee–and a passion for horses. All proceeds from our fresh, locally-roasted coffee benefit Galloping Hearts Rescue, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. 

Patrick founded Galloping Hearts Rescue in 2025 with a simple mission: rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and rehome horses in need of a better life. Some of GHR’s horses have been abused or malnourished, others worn out from a life on the track, still others rescued from the slaughter pipeline. After their stay at Galloping Hearts, horses are carefully matched with new adoptive owners–ensuring a happy, fulfilling future for both. 

Caring for these horses is expensive, so Patrick spearheaded the Galloping Hearts Coffee brand in 2026 as a way to support the rescue, get the word out about the important work we do, and–oh, yeah–share some amazing coffee with the world. 

At Galloping Hearts Coffee, we believe that a truly great cup of coffee should make you feel alive. We source our beans from the most vibrant growing regions in the world, seeking out flavors that are as bold and untamed as a wild stallion. Coffee is roasted in small batches in Temecula, California, ensuring that every cup provides a smooth, powerful finish.
